- Provide 1.8 kg clean mussels,
- Prepare 3 tbsp salted butter
- Get 4 , garlic cloves, finely chopped

- Preheat a pan with a lid over high heat and add the butter and garlic. Fry for 2 minutes or less. Do not let the garlic burn.
- Toss the Mussels in and cover with lid. Reduce heat to medium allow to steam for 10 minutes or until the mussels have all open.
- Add the rest of the ingredients, toss and cook for another 3-5 minutes to allow the liquid and mussels to absorb some of the flavours.
- Serve with crusty bread.
How to Make Steamed Mussels with Garlic and Lemon. Melt some butter in a large sauté pan and add the frozen mussels. Place a lid over the pan and steam until all the mussels are. Scatter the mussels directly on the grill along with the lemons, cut-side down. Remove the mussels from the grill.
