- You need 2 Pounds Beef Round Roast
- Get 15 Cloves Garlic
- Provide 1 Teaspoon Salt
- Use 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper Cracked
- Prepare 1 Cup Water
- Get 1 Cup Red Wine
- Get 1 Onion Sliced Large
- Prepare 2 Tablespoons Cilantro

- Cut the Roast Beef into 1"thick slices and season with salt and cracked black pepper. Sear on both sides for 3 mts. Let it rest for 5 minutes. Cut beef into 1 1/2" cubes.
- Use a heavy bottom Pot. Add Olive Oil, add Onions and carmalize onions. Add Beef, Garlic, Salt and Cracked black pepper. Cook on slow heat for 1 hour. Check to make sure it is not dry.
- Now Add wine and keep simmering until beef is fork tender. This may take upto 1 hour or more.
Cuts of beef that perform well for pot roasting go by many different names: Blade roast, cross-rib roast (or shoulder clod), seven-bone pot roast, arm pot roast, and boneless chuck roast are all acceptable cuts. In a large stock pot, mix together the red wine, beef stock, softened butter, sage, garlic, carrots, red onion, salt and pepper. Add the chuck roast and cover with lid. Using a sharp knife, trim any excess fat from the meat. Sprinkle the meat with salt and black pepper to taste.
