We all know that, in order to really be healthful, nutritious and balanced diets are important as are good amounts of exercise. However, we do not always have the time or the energy that this type of lifestyle demands. Working out at the gym isn’t something people make time for when they get off from work. People crave junk food, not veggies (unless they are vegetarians). You will be delighted to discover that getting healthy doesn’t have to be hard. If you are persistent you’ll get all of the activity and healthy food you need. Here are some of the best methods to be healthy and balanced.

Consider the stairs. Instead of selecting the elevator, ascend the stairs to your floor. This isn’t as effortless to do if you work on a very high floor but if you work on a lower floor, using the stairs is a great way to get some extra exercise. Even if you do live or work on one of the higher floors, you can still get out of the elevator early and climb up the stairs the rest of the way. Most people will decide to be idle and take an elevator instead of opting for exercise on the stairs. Even if you only have a single flight to climb, climbing along it during the day is a great way to get extra exercise.

There are all kinds of things that you can do to get healthy and balanced. Not all of them require fancy gym memberships or restricted diets. Little things, when done every day, can do plenty to enable you to get healthy and lose pounds. Being intelligent about the decisions you make each day is a start. Getting as much physical exercise as you possibly can is another factor. Remember: being healthful isn’t just about reducing your weight. 1. Place whole ear of corn (with husk on) in microwave
  2. Microwave on high for 4 minutes

  5. Pick up ear of corn (using mitt) by the pointed end (opposite of the cut end) squeeze and gently shake with cut end over plate
  6. Corn should slide out onto plate (if necessary you may use tongs to pull corn out)
  7. Corn will come out clean with no silk
  8. Discard husk and end piece
  9. Butter and salt corn or add your favorite condiments as desired
  10. Enjoy!

You can find it in the health and beauty section of just about any store and I think I purchased mine at Dollar Tree. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Stir sugar into water to dissolve; add corn, cover pot, and turn heat off, leaving pot on hot burner. Cut the corn away from the cobs (using the tip above, perhaps!) then spread the kernels out on a cookie sheet. Place the cookie sheet into your freezer until the kernels are frozen, then transfer the kernels to a freezer bag.
