- Use 5 small sized sweet potatoes
- You need 1/2 cup kuttu flour
- Take to taste Salt
- Prepare As required Oil for frying
Instructions to make Sweet Potato Poori:
- Take 5 small size sweet potatoes.Wash them & pressure cook them untill 1 whistle.
- Now peel them and mash them with a fork.
- Add kuttu flour, pinch of salt and mix together dry.Do not add water as sweet potato contains moisture that would be sufficient for the dough.
- Now take a Ziploc bag.Grease with a drop of oil.Keep a small size ball uopn that.And press gently with your finger.
- Remove one layer of plastic your poori is ready for fry. Do same with others too.
- Heat up oil on low to medium flame and deep fry them untill nice & brown colour.
- Prepare all pooris with same steps. And serve hot with green chutney and with some fruits.
